The Tri-Kleen™ 500UV is a portable air filtration system designed to provide the most effective ambient media air filtration available for a given workspace. The unit incorporates two technologies combining HEPA air filtration and UV-C light. It can be configured for positive or negative pressurization of the room as well as recirculated air filtration.
The main transmission of many viral and bacterial infections is through airborne transmission. These particles can remain suspended in the air for prolonged periods and can be spread great distances. This makes the importance of air filtration in preventing cross-infection in the workspace paramount.
The Tri-Kleen™500UV is a versatile air cleaner designed for office, commercial, school, and medical environments. The unit features HEPA air filtration combined with an Ultraviolet germicidal lamp. The combining of these two technologies greatly enhances the effectiveness of air-cleaning of pathogens such as bacteria and viruses. The unit incorporates three-speed settings from 90 cfm to 500 cfm. A filter load indicator with audible alarm mounted on the cabinet lets you know when to change the filter. An LCD touch screen mounted on the cabinet provides easy access to all controls.
This unit is portable and can be moved from one workplace to another as needs change. There are systems and areas within buildings where the upgrade of existing air filtration is simply not practical. A solution is the installation of a unit such as the Tri-Kleen 550UV which utilizes HEPA and UV technologies. These units provide increased air filtration and additional air changes per hour resulting in a cleaner working environment.
