Dot Peen Marking Systems create the mark using a vertically oscillating carbide indenting pin which is moved in the x and y axis by two stepper motors. The result is a dense pattern of precise marks that form the letter, number, character or code. The possibilities in the formation of the mark, character or logo are immense.

Marksman Dot Peen Markers can be furnished for hand use, tool post mounted, bench mounted or they can be integrated into fully automated production lines and machinery. Complete systems, integrator packages, and different controllers including a PC interface as well as a rotary fixture are available.
